Lone Star Benefits offers consulting services to clients that want specific tasks done with their group benefits plan on an as-needed basis. Traditionally, an agent assists in implementing a group plan for a client and is available as needed by the client throughout the year. The agent is paid commissions by the insurance company out of the premiums paid by the employer.

We believe that an agent needs to earn the commissions paid. We strive throughout the year, not just initially and at renewals, to assist our clients in making their group benefits plans run smoothly and efficiently. Occasionally, we are asked by large employers to only be involved in certain phases of a company's group benefits plan. Following is a list of the more common services we can provide to our clients on an “unbundled” basis:
